Hi guys,

I am looking for some old 8 bit game cartridges to buy, i particularly am looking for the old games like Battle Tank, Contra, Super Mario, Ice Climber, Olympics, Circus Charlie etc....

I cannot seem to find any in CPT ?

Thanks

Battletank FTW!

Also looking for these games. Saw some cartridges at a local checkers earlier this year, but nothing since.

I think you'll have to visit those little chinese shops you still find hidden in obscure centres.

Try doing a search for console emulators. You can d/l a lot of these games and play them on your pc via an emulator.

Lol you are so outdated man, get with the times! :D
Rather go for the 16-Bit Advanced graphics, like the Sega Mega Drive! ;)

but seriously, just download the roms (games) and emulators (program to play roms) from google!

they sure don't make games like they used to...ice climber ftw!

Got tons of them at home. Bomberman, contra, mappy, super mario, etc etc etc (a lot of them are on catridges which contain multiple games). Also got my NES clone to play them. How much do they go for nowadays?

Roms is the way to go.

Personally I'd recommend the entire SEGA Mega Drive 2 and MAME collection. The latter is a huge download though.

there are about 9500 NES Games available for download, but a lot are different mods/hacks/clones.

Thanks for the info guys, i am not looking for the roms as i have most of them on my PC..

I have bought an 8-bit console for my wife for xmas and want to add some games to it....

She was complaining the other day that she wanted to also play games while i was on the PS3 but doesnt like any of the "new" games, she wants to play the old school games via a "console"...

Thx Lariato i will give them a call....

Last time I looked telegames at the waterfront still have 8bit cartridges. Were about R20ea or so.

A few years ago I bought a bunch from the chinease shop next to Shoprite in Maynard Mall, Wynberg.

My gf got her old tv games out again
she found all these
mappy, load runner, tetris island, donkey kong and and and
