8 pin eps connection

Hey

does anyone know whether a 4 pin atx connector can be plugged into an 8 pin eps connection on a motherboard. As my powersupply only has two 4 pin connections. Also if it can should i plug both in or just one of them

1. Yes (except for Intel BadAxe rev2 board), 2. plug both.
