What is the use of advertising the 808 support number when you can't get through, your call gets dropped or none of the prompts are actually helpful? And the menu offers an Afrikaans option, complete with English options. The 1555 number isn't any better.
I'm trying to CANCEL a contract (tried to RENEW it since last week but I gave up), that should be alarming to the 12 MTN reps I've spoken to but instead of trying to convince me to stay, they all recommend the 808 thing. Is there no other direct number I can call? Or can I just throw away the sim and let MTN bill me without paying them a cent? The MyBB MTN guy, can I PM you my number for a direct f** call?
Quick question: Have any of the MTN reps actually tried calling 808? While they're on hold, they can log onto HelloPeter and read the complaints on there, and then comment.
