80's TV

Yip. The single most important influencing factor for Stellenbosch Uni's 1992 massive law student intake :D What a fsckup that turned out to be...

I'll admit to being one of the influenced, fortunately I got out early but I still wonder...

Eish sorry to hear that ponder. You can always take comfort in the fact that you never stood a chance...against the LA Law onslaught :p

I actually think i would have made a good advocate but the course content was how could i put it, just plain boring and i hate having to memorise schite like case law etc only liked latin strangely enough. These days i hate the legal profession, nothing noble about it.

Yes, we were also given a VHS tape in 1995 with The Young Ones. I vividly remember the episode when everyone is ill and there is green snot everywhere :D

Ah, good times...

We were obsessed with the Young Ones when teenagers. Recorded the shows straight to vhs and watched constantly until the next episode.

You can get them on Netflix now too. Still very watchable.

Thanks, I now have something to watch this weekend.

I just finished watching The IT Crowd on Netflix. Not 80s but still good British comedy.

Quite interesting, the Columbo series spanned 35 years but skipped out the 80's ( apart from '89 )
