Hi, I had an incident today that confused me a bit. Generally setting up aBlackberry to work as a modem is quite straight forward. I have done it many times. Today I had a request to set up an 8520 though and what normally takes only a few minutes didnt take at all.
Desktop Manager V5.0 on Vista 32 bit did not pick up the 8520 as a standard modem as usual. Could this be an isolated thing?
I dont know what the guy did before bringing it to me so it could be something he messed around with. I might also add that I have not used V5.0 before but can't see how that could have any effect on it.
I should also add that I did not spend a whole lot of time on it.
Any ideas?
