8600 GT GPU Faulty

Got a gpu for free yesterday that displays a "chequred flag" if you use it in any 3D environment. It seems that theres a problem with display of the colour (or no colour )black. Ive played a stupid game last night with all the defects and its still useable.

Just wandering, any1 know if its fixable. Seems a waste to throw away an almost workable GPU.

Unlikely - 90% of the time it’s not worth fixing or actually can't be fixed. The cost of even trying to repair the board out weighs replacing it. But hell you never know, there might be someone out there that could look at it.
