8GB RAM vs 8GB+4GB RAM

I don't think dual channel vs single dim is a thing anymore in today's time.

I can be wrong.

EDIT: Okay your post and your title are not the same. Pick the 12GB version.

EDIT 2: I must be dyslexic I read it as 8GB single Dim VS 8GB - 2x4GB dims

Multi-channel is still a thing, you don't have to have two modules anymore, but if you do it will be better.
 
Unlikely you''ll spot a perceivable difference.

Go for the more memory option.
 
I assume you have read all the threads about evetech on mybb & over at carbonite before purchasing?
 
More memory if at all affordable/possible
