8ta iPad Sim

I've got an 8ta prepaid sim which I now want to cut up for my iPad.

Is there any reason why this will not work (If I cut it right that is!) ? Does the iPad require a special 8ta sim?

A friend of mine cut up his sim and it worked fine. I think that the iStore have mini sims, but at a cost.

8ta gives out free micro sims, I got one for my iPad!

When they launched the 8ta iPad deals at the iStores, I picked one up. The sim I was given, was actually a normal sized sim cut down to micro-sim size. Was quite roughly done, I had to fix it up a bit before I managed to fit it into the micro-sim holder on the iPad.

the sim is the same, you just have extra plastic around it... there are special cutting tools available or you can just use scissors, being careful not to damage the chip part (and not bend it or put pressure on it too much)
