8ta SMS problem

I can suddenly only receive SMS but cannot send any: I am on 8ta prepaid

please help

Check you have the correct Service centre number

I don't know how to check or change it and because I cant sms I cannot request my settings.

Service Centre should be under your sms settings

It reads "SMS center number unknown"
and I cannot enter one

OK thanks for the replies : I rebooted the phone and it picked up the number and it now reads +2781191
ans all is ok again

I wonder if its a Android 4.12 attribute and it does not have the option to enter the center no. manually or a Sony Xperia thing?

I have the same type of issue, only mine is on the 3g Dashboard.
I cant enter the text centre number cause it does not allow me to.
i cant connect, or sms anything
Any idea how i can fix this?
It worked fine on sunday evening, but monday i just didnt anymore

ans all is ok again

I also had a problem but entered the number +2781191 and sent myself a test SMS and all is working now.
