I also send in my termination of the i5promo. First by email, but I did not receive acknowledgement. So I went to the shop, just to cover myself.

If Telkom Mobile is at all concerned about customer service, they would follow up every cancellation received with a simple email or SMS.
It prevents small problems, like the wrong contract being cancelled, turning into large problems, like people being stuck without service. A simple message will reassure people in these times of fraudulent SIM swaps.

I'm overall quite happy with the product and it was great value of money. I'm moving to 60+60 when my service terminates.
