8ta vs Iburst

Hi All

I am thinking about signing up with the 8ta, the internet 5 promo specifically, i know I have got very good 3G coverage as I locked the Sim to only use the 8ta towers but now my question is Iburst has a deal for 20gigs of data for more or less the same price, which would you think is best and why?

and secondly do you think I should maybe wait a little lomger for a better deal as it seems data is becoming cheaper by the day.

had iburst, now have 8ta: alot happier since!
iburst is hopeless! you could possibly count the number of people on one hand, who actually do use up the iburst data, as teh service is heavily shaped!

8ta at work I average around 600KB/s..with full signal on a 7.2Mbps 3g modem
at home with no bars, just barely getting a 3G signal on 8ta, I can still do an average of 200KB/s. With iburst, peak times at home 3 or 4 KB/s download speed..after midnight when it supposedly is fastest, i have not seen more than 100KB/s.

go iburst.

Thanks for the reply I'm not having any issues with 8ta signal at all just wasnt sure if maybe Iburst was better value for money as it was more data but since you say it is heavily shaped then I think 8ta is best

Just one quick one do you do any gaming as I'm getting my xbox tomorrow and would like to use xbox live....any lag at all?

The shaping and speed will be iburst's undoing.I also jumped from iburst to 8ta and I'm managing to blow my full data allocation.
Never happened with iburst.
