9:30pm disconnect like clock work ??

Hi All

I have recently over the last week or so had disconnections at exactly
9:30pm every night where all my international traffic goes off for about
10 minutes but all my local traffic is fine and even my VPN still stays
connected.

I thought this might be the IP-address from telkom that gets reset which happens every 24hrs AFAIK but this problem has only being of late.

After about 10 minutes i can re-connect again to both servers in the UK and USA and everything is fine again until the next night.

Any ideas ??

BTW 384 ADSL with telkom 3 gig package

Beacuse of high levels of downloading, Telkom has now had to employ 4000 teeny tiny hobbits to vacuum all the bits of "lost" data out of the SAT3 cable. It was only through their commitment to fair labour practices that they were able to hire that many "wee people" - otherwise the downtime would have been longer.

From a media report:
"Telkom, in its efforts to provide a world-class service, despite the continued abuse of the ADSL system by its users, has hired 4000 wee people to vacuum the SAT3 cable daily."
