9300 os6 issues

Hi,
Last night I plugged my bb into the pc and it said it had an upgrade available so I ran it,

OS6 looks great and works very smoothly but my BIS isnt working properly , my bbm's isnt going through ( takes like 20mins ) and my browser and applications cant connect,
i tried setting the apn to blackberry.net, I tried to set the routing table ( like on the vodacom website ) it sent me an sms saying its registered now but still nothing seems to work, I also dont see the BB sign on the top right,
am I just missing something here?

I upgraded to OS6 over a week ago on my 9300 but no problems with BIS. My problem is that the memory gets low quickly when using tabbed browsing. Other issue is that I'm used to pressing (T)op and (B)ottom to navigate through webpages but this doesn't work on OS6, and there should be a keyboard shortcut for the tabs options.

I suggest you try to do the upgrade again and see if it changes anything.

Also upgraded recently (9300) and the only issue I've seen is less app space and when scrolling in BBM you don't have a cursor until you start selecting text. Make sure you have some app space, just in case.

Side note: I have enabled my keyboard to be shortcut keys (Home Screen Preferences) and in the browser I enabled keyboard shortcuts. I can press 'W' for tabs and B/T works like always (I/O for zoom also).

THe official verison that the BBDM will alert you too is still buggy, if you really want a proper OS6 then you need ot run at least .461 which a leak version but so far its the best, its the first with the memory leak truely fixed.

In a nutsheLl would it be recommendable to load the OS6 on the BB9300 or is it wiser to stick with the current version and wait for more stable version to be released.

I'd say it's nicer and better enough to accept the odd and rare painting issue, but if you are theme-heavy you might need to hold back until your themes are all OS6 ready. Also, BeReader doesn't scroll well (3 or 4 pixels per swipe) in OS6.

Well the only really unstable OS6 is the actual official one, the leaks there are far better especially .461, i would love to try .499 but the only available leak is corrupt.
