9600GT in stock?

No 9600GT's for at leaset 3 months. Nvidia Recalled all of them due to manufacturing problems.

look at the 8800GT 256mb. I'ts almost the same price as the 3850 and is faster than the 8800GS.

My friend, this problem had been sorted and it's on sale both overseas and here.
 
those babies are good to go. I wonder what the 9800gt will perform like.

as for the 9600gt and the price of the 3850's coming down - that was predictable from AMD/ATI side. Pity we wont see the price reductions anytime soon though.
 
Just really unfortunate that we get ripped here again. Selling at newegg for $180 which in rand terms is R1400 but here we get to pay over R2000.

So far in the reviews it's doing very well against the ati cards especially in the crysis dx10 benchmarks.

No was merely pointing out under dx10 the 9600gt is excellent but under dx9 the cards perform about the same. But the 9600gt does smash the 8600 silly. Most benches two times as fast and in some 4 times.

yea, DX9 is still very good, I am put off DX10 because of Vista and that fact that there is sometimes bad performace :(

Otherwise Fudzilla has a review of the New 9600GT - Getting 45Fps on High in Crysis *1024x768* no idea if it was Dx9 or Dx10 :confused: even getting 30 at 1280x768 :D and Might I say ATI is actualy keeping up in some benchies or even beating it!!
