9900 keyboard problem

Calling all technical boffins - hoping someone can assist. Recently my 9900 keyboard has been acting up - the space bar either does not work i.e. add a space, or it goes straight to the full stop. Very frustrating.

Occasionally a letter will double up - add two of the same. I've changed the keyboard settings back and forth, to no avail. Is this a hardware glitch? Would a bit of percussive maintenance sort it out?

Sounds like stuck keys to me. So if its under warranty, send it in. Otherwise, remove the keyboard and clean up whatever dust has accumulated below it
