As the title suggests, I'm currently looking for a case for the new pc I am building. I want something as dust free as possible, since there is a problem with the ceilings where I live, dust just seems to be on the agenda. Within a day of thorough cleaning it seems that dust has built up over 2 weeks.

Anyway, back to the topic.. My budget is ~R1000
And as stated, something that keeps dust out well and needless to say, I don't want components overheating either.

I currently have the following components already:

Antec HCG620 (non-modular)
Kingston HyperX Blu 4GBx2
1TB SATAIII 7200RPM Seagate drive
LG RW drive

and I'm thinking about adding the following ASAP:

Core I5 3570k
ASUS P8Z77-M
MSI R7950 Twin Frozr

as well as a monitor (thought about just getting a 23" from game as I have a R500 gift voucher to spend there already, but I am not sure if they even sell 23"er's with an HDMI port).

So, without further ado, please make any suggestions you can about my build (keep in mind I am already a bit strapped for cash, so atm an SSD etc is out of the question), but mainly, please give me good suggestions for a case.

Also have a look at the Coolermaster Silencio 550.

I'd advise you to go for a case with front/top USB 3.0 support, because it looks like your motherboard does come with an USB 3 header.
The CM690 II case is a nice case in general and should suffice for a single graphics card setup. My 690 II Advanced (with extra front fan) handles my 2x GTX460's + i7 920 @ 3.8GHz just fine, but it is at its limits with 2 graphics cards.

The Silencio 550 is one of the best looking cases you'll find.

+1 to the CM 690 Advanced! Keeps the dust out and components cool.

Pada - gotta ask now that Im finally running two 460s as well - would you consider changing to a single 580? 2nd hand theyre not gonna set you back anything if you were to sell your two 460s. I just got SLI working and Im back to wondering again haha..

Bt ye - back to the thread - YEP to CM690 II ! :D

Doesn't the Silencio 550 run a bit hotter though? I have actually been taking a look at the 690II, but can't help to think that it's not going to be dust free with all the mesh though.

Oh and do you guys think that motherboard would be fine? I generally prefer ASUS motherboards, as I have had trouble with most other brands before (most notably ASROCK), but if I could get something a bit cheaper that will last and have a bit of overclocking potential, I might just go for that.

My CM690 II is pretty clean to be honest! The dust filters and mesh at the top keeps most of the dust out.
I do clean the filters say once every 6 months or so. It also helps a lot by letting the PC stand on the table and not below the table.

Okay, so I have decided to get a few more items then just the case at the moment, will most likely only get the graphics card in January, as most of the shops will be closed during the time I get my salary next month (quite a shame). Anyway, decided to go for:

I5 3570K http://www.wootware.co.za/intel-core-i5-3570k-3-4ghz-lga1155-quad-core-ivy-bridge-cpu.html
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 http://www.wootware.co.za/asrock-z77-extreme4-lga1155-intel-z77-atx-desktop-motherboard.html
CoolerMaster CM 690 II Advanced USB 3.0 http://www.wootware.co.za/coolermaster-cm-690-ii-windowed-side-panel-advanced-chassis.html

I hope the motherboard is fine, a bit skeptic about Asrock because of past experiences, but this board is well priced and a 3 year warranty doesn't seem too bad. Then I'm still deciding whether or not to get:

Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo Turbo edition http://www.wootware.co.za/coolermaster-hyper-212-evo-turbo-edition-2x-fan-cpu-cooler.html
CoolerMaster Thermal Fusion 400 http://www.wootware.co.za/coolermaster-thermal-fusion-400-thermal-grease.html

I've read in a review that the thermal paste isn't too bad.. Will do light overclocking, not going to try to max it out (at least for now).
