A clear plan for after a car accident

  1. Check that everyone is safe, and move the vehicle out of the flow of traffic if it is safe to do so.
The first point is wrong.

If there are any injuries you are not allowed to move the vehicle by law.

0. Check that there's a round in the chamber.

It's not an "accident". It's an idiot.

I would logically think if it's safe to do so would imply the people in it aren't effected negatively as well?

All this assumes that you haven't been seriously injured yourself.

For this reason alone I'm with Discovery insure as I haven't found a suitable alternative to the little sensor device that automatically alerts them in the event of an accident or impact and triggers the appropriate emergency services etc in the event that you dont answer the call

I had first hand experience 4 yrs ago, still stunned after a woman shot through a red light and straight into me, my phone rang with a minute...Discovery called to check if I'm okay and needed assistance etc .
