A commuting bike.

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a 2nd hand bike for commuting.

My daily comute wil be through suburbs, a main road and then some highway. Total of 30kms one way.

What would be a good bike for this application? My Budget is around R20 000.

I have my eye on a Honda CBX-250. Anthing better for this price range ?

If you commute less than about 80Km/h and the highway is a regional highway then you could also look at a scooter. Reason being is that there is less clutch work for traffic and safe place for storage of your helmet during work hours.

Some bikes come with top boxes where you could also store your helmet. I am looking at the Honda air blade/vision/PCX125 scooter, so I am also considering your CBX250 or scooter. Just a bit of a dilemma which one to get. Good luck.
