ANC billboard defaced in Durban

The ANC has reacted in anger to the defacing of an election billboard in KwaZulu-Natal which bears the image of the party's president Jacob Zuma.

"The ANC condemns this dastardly act and views it as a serious setback to the culture of political tolerance that is currently thriving in the province of KwaZulu-Natal," spokesperson Nomfundo Mcetywa said on Thursday.

She called on police to investigate and leave no stone unturned in ensuring that political tolerance did not rear its ugly head.

The billboard was situated in the Umlazi suburb.

They don't mention how it was defaced - perhaps a shower head was added .

And now the police must leave no stone unturned to ensure no more billboards are defaced so I guess they won't be around to make sure that ANC members don't continue disrupting COPE meetings.
