As was said on 702 this morning, there are a groupd of 4 or five individuals that are intent on destroying rugby and everything that goes with it in while enriching themselves politically and financially.
An interesting read on our current state of affairs.

Try to find another country where the government dictates to its sporting bodies what symbol it will wear.

We tried to find one. Certainly the countries whose sporting habits are closest to South Africa's - England, Australia and New Zealand - do not have just one national sporting emblem nor does the government decide what sporting emblem its athletes and players must wear.

What unites people is sporting success. When Penny Heyns, Ryk Neethling and Josia Thugwane won gold medals, we all rejoiced, regardless of what emblem they wore. They were South Africans. They were us.

They(government) will do as they please. There is no stopping them. Personally I blame countries like NZ(flower bombs) and England(coal dumping) who protested against apartheid but are silent now when its just reversed and worse.

Its sad when as you say 4 people have the power and authority to do as they please and cant be held accountable.
