a few questions... Superchannel case + PSU

I'm here again, please don't flame as I ask to be safe rather than sorry....

I now have the following
Samsung BX2231 21.5" LED (hdmi x2, )
LITEON 24x DVD writer/reader
Barracuda 7200.12 SATA 6Gb/s 500GB Hard Drive (16mb cache)
ATI Radeon HD 4670 512mb DDR3
old keyboard
old speakers
1.5TB Samsung G3 sation external drive
I still need the following
Core i5 2500k
MSI P67A-C45 Motherboard
1600MHz or 2000MHz DDR3 ram 2x 2GB
at least a 600 watt psu
case
new keaybaord and mosue (wireless and logitech)
Logitech LS21 speakers
GTX 560ti or better price dependent

I will be getting the GTX 560 or better in a few months and a better quality PSU
so
I want to get the superchannel 711 gaming case it comes with a 750watt PSU its cheap and the case looks nice
I guess it'll be a rubbish PSU, but it should be fine for now until I buy the GTX, does anybody have one and how does it fair day to day ?

The Seagate Sata iii 500GB drive I have only has 16mb cache, should I get a 32mb cache or will it be fine for gaming and some minor video editing ? it'll be my main drive

The case looks like it should stay cool as I plan to overclock the i5 to at least 4.0GHz
and maybe the GTX too I would like to add led fans too (good quality) and a better CPU cooler when I have the whole setup complete
For the moment the hd4670 will be fine as I only plan on playing Blood Money and Portal 2 on it for now
once I get the better PSU and GTX ill get Crysis 2 and some other good games

Hi SY573M,

Things seems ok... Just a couple of questions:

Why the MSI Motherboard? If you're going 2500K I'd rather recommend an Asus P8P67-M Motherboard.
The RAM is a bit overkill. Rather go with 2x 2Gb 1333MHz and save a couple of 100.

I'm not too sure whether or not the cache will make that big a difference as it is only a 500Gb Hard Drive and it is SATA6G. It'll make a difference on a 1Tb though.

I haven't seen or used the case myself, so can't comment on that, though there are tons available in the market, but if that's what you want then so be it. Just make sure that it has good airflow in the case itself.

I think any 750W would work ok on the current setup without the newer GTX560, but do buy a new PSU before the card.

Take2 has a VERY good price on the Gigabyte GTX 560 Ti OC card: ~ R2500.

I would rather avoid that case and PSU, because buying a cheap PSU usually ends in an expensive mess.
Just go for the Coolermaster Elite 430 and a Corsair CX500 - I know that this combination costs more than the SuperChannel case, but it's worth it for the PSU.
You might actually want to install another 120mm fan in the Elite 430 case as well.
