Hi all,

I'm a South African living in Australia, and was hoping for some opinions on the current service.

I haven't been back for a few years, the offerings have changed somewhat.

I am going back in the next few months for a few months and was looking at MTN's 350MB package for R220, I've got all the equipment required to use EDGE, but was wondering what the availibility was like?

Wherever I click on the MTN coverage map it just takes me straight to the Kimberley/ Bloemfontein bit, it won't let me check anywhere else!

Does anyone know what the EDGE reception is like in Zeerust, Bethlehem and Umtata? if there is any...

Australia is very much like South Africa, all the good services (like 3G) is focused on the capital cities, which sucks.
