I have a great group of friends and we have a standing arrangement to meet every Thursday evening at somebody's place. This has been going on for about 2 years now. We are about equally guys and girls in our middle 20s.
The thing is we are all seeking a potential husband or wife. That's why we started this social group. But I don't really see anyone of my girl-friends as a potential wife. Except for one ... sort of. Actually she is stunning, but I think she's falling for another of my friends. My point is we see each other basically every week and since I don't feel I'm progressing towards a romantic relationship I have wondered whether I should maybe go on a hiatus for 2/3 weeks. Just so that they don't take my presence for granted every week. I have been getting the feeling that this is the case.
Make no mistake, I love them dearly like they are family. But I just want to break the pattern a bit. Will that be a wise thing?
