I thought this was really funny. Its about Wolverine and the new movie:
Whats your opinion on Wolverine?
Didn't they already cover his origin in that other movie? Why cover this again?
The claws are neat, but who cares about his origins pre-claws? In the end though that's his trick. Claws and fast healing. No super strength, not especially bright, no lightning bolts, can't fly, can't run especially fast, no psychic powers, and no notable skills of which I am aware (apart from being able to stab things and make gruff wisecracks at teh guy whose girlfriend he'd like to steal). I'd be more interested in hearing the origin of Halle Berry's character, or even Patrick Stewart's, but instead they give a second treatment to The Wolverine.
I understand that the fan base is very much enamored with him, but based on the movies, I just don't see why. Is the appeal just that he's an ******* with a secret heart of gold?
Interesting that he seems to have fought in WWII, I guess. Too bad mutants didn't just fly in and kill Hitler, cause that would have saved us from Tom Cruise's bad acting in Valkyrie.
