A message to all the hackers

No its not, but still you can do it and people will always do it... the two things that irritates me most are hackers and people using lame tactics like always playing with a CG :/ There are reasons why those weapons are banned from clan games. Back in the day, when I was 18, playing CS1.5 / 1.6 online was about the fun of the game and the community being great people and always polite and a pleasure to play with... today it seems the only thing everyone wants is to get the to scores and rank as fast as possible without care as to how they get there be it via hacks or noob / cheese tactics. If you joke with one guy the entire server gets on your case and vloek your mother
 
You know whats the worst of it all. Is that the South African Online gaming community had a "Name and Shame" website where the real names and also nics where posted on. But was forced by the greater community to close it xD.

Wikus I see you play MW2 hows it going with playing a dead game that relies on other peoples bandwidth? Im so glad i pirated that POS. :D
 
I love the CG :P

Usually for taking down buildings though.... either that or C4 all the connected walls and blow it down that way.
 
Wow, the guy just wanted to rant about something annoying & he gets attacked?

The more serious you take gaming the more you hate cheaters, thats how I feel / see it. To come home from work after a hectic day and you just want to relax a bit a jam online, only to find some turd who is cheating and spoiling the experience for everyone is not cool. I still don't see what joy they get out of that? Its like driving a Ferrari in a Beetle race. You win and you are so stoked... Get a life..

You have to however distinguish between someone who is cheating and someone who has just got mad skills. There are a lot of cheaters out there but then there are also a lot of really skilled guys too.

I haven't played online (mine was the weekend LAN era with internet on a 56k modem) a lot, but we used to LAN regularly. I've played against people with sick skill, and though you feel like a fool sometimes, it's totally fine. But add someone who tries to cheat to the group and we out him as soon as we can. Cheating is stupid in single player, way much more so in multiplayer.

Also, if you want to hack, I can give you more interesting things to spend your time on. There are a few websites running that needs to be updated. ;-)

Those are really bad reasons for accusing somebody of hacking. In doing so, you yourself are guilty of ruining the genre we all love. We all hate hackers, mate. I just want to rip them out of their cozy hidey hole and stomp them like the bugs they are. But before we start our little rampage, we have to ensure that there is no doubt. The ONLY way to remove doubt is to spectate or record the player and get the opinion of people who KNOW what to look for. Kill/Death ratios are not conclusive and can never be. Falsely accusing legitimate players is as bad as hacking in my humble opinion. How are we ever going to point out the real culprits, who are a huge minority, in a cesspool where every reasonably good player is accused of hacking?

I thank Space for Black Ops dedicated servers. The ball is back in our court now and hackers begone. :)

i admit that assuming he had a huge kill death margin and him hacking may have been a bit silly. i have stated many times in this thread that i never accuse people in game. ever. i find it pointless. cuz they dont care anyway. i just wanted to vent thats all. maybe i am just useless at MoH. but so far in the last 3 days of playing it. i havent seen a person with that kind of kill death deficit. the top guys are getting stats of 27 / 17 or 35 / 19. so i have to assume something is wrong. please dont think im one of those players that tune HAX every five seconds. im not. and i know it. if a guy tubes me in any game. i never complain. i see it as part of the game. im not a tuber myself. but if i get tubed, the developer put it in the game so i have to accept it. hopefully the actual hackers can be seperated from the FPS gods soon. i am the first to admit when someone is just good.

Cool! Whining comes a close second to hacking in my little book. Again, the kill/death ratio is nothing to go on. It might be reason to suspect and then it's up to you to spectate and make sure. Wallhacks, aimbots are very easily spotted in this fashion. Once you're sure, discreetly tell an admin. They themselves will make sure and hackers begone. :)
 
They are not gamers but lamers, they need these cheats to have a chance at the game, without them they are skilless, play combat practice mode on vet, should be good training for these cockjockeys, if i were the developers id have the sites boasting about tools for the useless closed down as they punt hacks that ruin their game
 
Anyone know anything about grimlin93 from bfbc2,his k/d is insane and he reched lvl50 within his first month of play.i can't find out anything about him online.

btw his ping is between 130 - 150ms so thats the only reason anyone can kill him but still a score of 50kills to 10 deaths is still weird.

I have to add though, it's rather funny but also a bit annoying when people keep crying hacker when other people who are far better than them keep beating them up.

I remember this one time when I was at a Quake tournament, the one guy there would kill you then know exactly where on the map you re-spawned and get you there. Was he hacking? Nope, we were standing behind him watching him, he was just that bloody good.

Face it guys, there are actually other people who are better than you. I suck at most games, and I know it, but I still enjoy a good game now and then. Even if I get beaten up and left to the vultures for good.

He has an average KD of 1.3, mine is 1.2 so either he was lucky to get that score or he sucked at first and now is getting better ... or he started hacking lol, so far he looks legit.
