A monster in the Karoo

Sound like they're trying scare off the frackers. Time to call Scooby Doo.

Lysergic acid diethylamide

If you see demons and monsters on that you should not be taking it, because there is something mentally wrong with you.

Collective "you", not you specifically of course.

Loch Ness monster swam all the way to the karoo? This deserves entry into guinness book of records. :erm:

It's definitely a Chitauri. Let's hunt it down then eat its flesh at the bottom of a hole at night and trip out for a week.

In the 70's, I remember a story of a salesman who stopped at a farm (in the old days you people were hospitable) and had dinner with the farmer and his family. He dropped his fork and while bending down saw under the table that all the family had hooves! He got out there as fast as possible! The next day he returned there with the police but there was no farm or farm house!

He probably got arrested on suspicion of burning the herb.

Just down the road... the Uniondale Ghost! http://www.uniondale.co.za/index.php?page_name=more&menu_id=1&submenu_id=1

During the bitterly cold Easter weekend of 1968 a young couple were involved in a car accident some 20 kilometres from town. The woman, with long dark hair and clothed in a dark blouse and long pants, was sleeping on the rear seat when her fiancé lost control of the car in the stormy weather. She was killed in the accident.

The first recorded sighting was during the Easter weekend of 1976. The description of the ghost matched that of the unfortunate woman. Since then many sightings have been reported. According to witnesses sightings are characterised by a female hitchhiker who receives a lift, car doors that open and close at the site of the accident, a shrill laugh, a chilliness in the car and the total disappearance of the ghost.

And whenever I think stupidity has hit the roof they can still beat themselves.

To all the people in the Karoo out there, take your hands off those illegal substances, or at least take less ffs.
