Hey.
Me and some bussies of mine had been talking around the fire, we thinking of starting a 10 part documentry about the state of South Africas internet and the way it works.

It would me something like www.purepwnage.com but way more on a high note.

Im just looking for some ideas and comments.

Some people dont beleave me when I tell them the state that we live in.
And these are Americans and Canadians.

Oh MAN!!!! PLEASE do this. As low budget as possible, we dont need fancy information, just the truth. And it must be released without prior warning to Telkom, or they will take you to court and molest you in a second.

What are the chances of you guys doing this and if you do, when would you start?

The good old days of dialup to Compustat with my blazing 14.4K USR Sportster running Trumpet Winsock, Mosiac web browser and Windows 3.1 with the Win32s extensions and the crashing every few hours.

Hey anybody still remember using Gopher ???.

Hey yea I would make a documentry but I dont live in JHB so the main is out of the question.
Unless I organise a terror network  [joke] and have one of you guys go up to them that side.

Other wise I can do what needs to be done this side.
I can interview some people.

I can go to some of their buildings this side and sneak a peak.

We expose the truth.

Any thaughts on that?

I’m not sure what you expect to find in a telkom building. Maybe a biiiiig black hardcover labeled in red: "Book of e-ville"? I would think probably a few hallways with offices, normal people working too hard and getting paid to little. But file footage of "the inside" could be cool :)

telkom building in the cbd is a good skate spot and you can buy weed there.....
