R50 for blu-ray would be my impulse buy upper limit. Now that DVD has been superseded I wouldn't be inclined to buy it at all, but if the discs cost a few Rand I might.Quite simple really.
If people could buy a blu-ray movie for a reasonable price (absolute max of R100, possibly 125 for a new movie) they would sell 10x more in SA.
New Movie DVD's should not sell for more than R100, more reasonable would be around R50-R75. They should be making their money at the cinema, not 20 years after the movie was made. Same goes for music.
