I used to take four tablets per day of the Solal Technologies brand of vitamin D that contained 500 IU of vitamin D (and nothing else) per tablet.

Yesterday I bought the Solal Technologies brand of vitamin D that contains, per tablet:

  • 500 IU vitamin D[SUB]3[/SUB] (cholecalciferol)
  • 5 milligram zinc (amino acid chelate)
  • 1,000 microgram boron (amino acid chelate)

Is it still safe to take four tablets a day, in view of the zinc and boron content of the tablets? The bottle says to take one tablet per day.

No you wont OD on any of the indgredients.

Im still wondering why waste your money. Just buy the calciferol tablets that have 50 000 iu and take one a month (or weekly if you want). Thats R6.00 per month on vitD supplements how much is your solal product ?

with your solal supplement you getting 60 000 iu with 4 tabs a day per month and dont worry about technicalities with the subgroups of vitD
