I watched the news and I would like to ask what the Zimbabwian Refugees are coming to do here? Weren't they the people who chased the Farmers out of Zimbabwe?

Can't the cultivate these farms they forcefully claimed??
But now I really don't understand. They chased away those who produced what they are now seeking??? Can't the cultivate these farms they forcefully claimed??
Those that do are perfectly happy with the current situation in Zimababwe.
What your missing is those that are crossing the border had nothing to do with the chasing of food producers off their land. The people crossing the border are the ones who do not get favours from MUgabe and his cronies. Those that do are perfectly happy with the current situation in Zimababwe.
Now that it seems that they are getting nothing out of the "deal" except more hard times than ever before, disease and starvation, they run to South Africa (which still has many white business and farm owners, which they fought to get rid of back home) maybe instead of invading our country they should fight just as hard to get Mugabe out of their own country, and get someone who really cares about Zimbabwe and it's people, hmm?
They're the same people who fought for independance and voted Mugabe in (understandable - he led the fight to freedom at the time), and then kept him in for 27 years (whilst he got fat, greedy and senile), despite his obviously increasing maniac decisions, which even an uneducated person could see were not fair nor humane. They stood on the sidelines because they hoped that these decisions would give them all the wealth and happiness they craved, without having to work for it, and at the expense of other fellow human beings who had worked like hell for it... like it did for the politicians and "yes" men surrounding Mugabe.
They are also the same people who were happy to sit by and watch the "land re-distribution programme" and hope it would benefit them, no matter how much it hurt (and killed) some innocent people who had made their livelihoods in that country, and were the sole source of food and exports at the time, certainly not without hard work and dedication to their businesses/farms and country.

It only looks greener on the other side because the is more **** on that side...they are off to greener pastures.![]()
