A question for Nissan Juke owners

Is the fuel comsumption really as bad as people make it out to be? I've done some reading and people seem to say that it's quite far off from what Nissan says it is.

Also how's the overall reliability of Nissan compared to Honda, Toyota and other car makes?

The Nissan Juke is really tempting, but not that familiar with Nissan really.

My question to the owners is "why????" hahaha.

I'm kidding...Its a weirdly charming little thing. Makes me smile when I see them around even though they look a tad awkward.

Fuel consumption will always be off from maufacturer claims. My car is supposed to be combined (town/highway) 5.8l/100k but I cant get it below 9.5l/100km no matter how carefully I drive.

As for reliability, I remember someone saying the Nissan Almera was bulletproof and the Micra has proved to be a great little car (my ex has one). I wouldnt worry about that...

Quoted consumption figures are always off the mark, as they are created on rolling roads in laboratory situations.

Put the car on the road with different drivers, and they always go up.

If someone is driving the daylights out of a Juke with a turbo, he's not going to get anything like the quoted figures.

My question to the OP would be which engine? The 1.6 or the 1.6 DIG-turbo?

Definitely the one without the turbo.

Don't feel like having extra high service and repair costs.
