Bit stumped here, I was asked to VM a DOS box running this specialised software, I've done that, no problem. Now the damn thing uses an ISA card in the machine (scary) and I need it to recognize an ISA card. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this or am I barking up a tree that isn't there.

Depending on the card, I think there is more chance of hell freezing over then you getting it working. For any piece of hardware to work inside of VMWare, they need to virtualize the hardware, which means they have to create drivers etc that the internal OS can talk to and then they talk to the hardware device. It is extremely doubtful that VMWare would support any specialised cards, let alone an old ISA card.

Doh, that's what I was afraid of :( It's apparently some sort of coms card that talks to a chip on the board so I'll see if our engineers can do something with it.
