Life insurance on R1million is about R150 IIRC.
 
Have you considered asking an insurance company?

And BTW, R50k aint worth the effort of knocking off Mr Blu - aim higher...

I just asked for a rough estimate from the posters, not an actual quote. Why do you have PMS today?

Ha ha ha well that was actually not a rude response.... the one I just posted was! :)

No, really that stuff affects the premium. I was not being rude. It cannot be answered more or less - R50,000 for a smoking, policeman, 55 years of age would differ immensely from that amount for a non-smoking, accountant, 23 years of age!
