A really stupid question about loading a data bundle onto a tablet

I have a Motorola Xoom and I have an Edgars application with which I can purchase data bundles (never tried). My question is how do you get it onto the Xoom without removing the sim and putting the sim into a phone to load the bundle?

Never done any of this before.

Ps the Edgars application in on my blackberry just to be clear.

If you know the phone number of the Sim Card in the XOOM and if the Edgars App can load it onto a number, it would be as easy as entering the number, bundle size and purchase.

I bank wit FNB and have their app on my BB, where I can data bundles for any cell number I specify :)

I see the mtn android app lets you buy data...I will just pre-load that sim with airtime on a phone before I go away and then convert it to a data bundle via the MTNza keypad app.

Unfortunately, one of the problems with using a tablet is that there's often no way to actually access the dialler for USSD commands. You can ask Edgars to swap your number over into the one your BB uses and simply buy MTN airtime or what have you and then use the voucher code to redeem the airtime. It works the same way for all the options - you get the SMS with the code in, it doesn't credit your account on your behalf.
