12 December 2018 ADSL down. Reported fault by SMS. Regional problem.
Also phoned regional manager who confirmed it was a regional problem.
Above was rectified next day.
01 January 2019 ADSL down. Reported over cell phone via SMS
02 January 2019 Phoned 10210 (1) and spoke to Lucky for one hour. He tried all kinds of things but could not reset the port. Apparently, the system would not allow him to. He registered call, which he said was not yet showing on his system. This after it was sent via SMS the previous day.
After an hour he said it was a general system problem in the area.
03 January 2019 Phoned regional manager who said it was not a local area problem and he took my number and promised to get back to me. He never did. That was 8h38
Phoned 10210 (1) and spoke to Nkosi who said it was allocated to a technician and was at testing stage and he couldn’t do anything further. Said I must wait for 7 days before he can escalate it.
Phoned regional manager again but he didn’t answer (14h02)
04 January 2019 12h34 - tried to call regional manager again and still no reply.
Phoned 10210 (1) and spoke to Carmen (12h40) who said the line had been cancelled!! We haven’t cancelled anything, and I explained this to her.
She said the port had been reset and that it should work. We rebooted modem and it did work!
There was apparently a circuit fault on the 2nd.
We had had no contact from a technician or SMS from Telkom advising this.
She then put me though to Evelyn in sales who said there was no indication of a cancellation on the account. She also said there were no other accounts under my ID number.
I asked twice and Evelyn confirmed twice that everything was in order. This was 13h08
I then phoned Billing (10210) (2) and spoke to Nobuhle requesting a credit for the two above times we were off line. This was at 13h15
15h36 I received a call from Eleanor who said they had processed a credit for R82,82

I don't see the issue? You requested credit and they gave you credit as was requested?
