So I did a transfer of service with good old Telkom, had my old number and services deactivated, on the 29/12, and the 4/01/2012, had a Telkom Techie come and do the activation of my line and services, at my new place. After checking the line, there was an issue, as the cable leading into my place, was used for another apartment at some stage, and well, could not get a signal from my place to the "building hub" using another available cable...he did explain to me the complexities of cabling of the bygone era....forgive me, I was only mildly interested. So I am still without service, and mobile internet access is becoming a bit to pricey for my liking....is there anyone that has been in the same boat on here, if yes, how the heck do you get to make a fire under someones ass. Called their escalation department and was basically told of the separations of power philosophy that exist...we can send an escalation, but are not privy to what happens to it ....WTF!! - So I have to await good old Telkom for that call, Good Day, This is Telkom calling, we will be seeing you tomorrow...what time? WTF knows, but please make sure you are available...I miss my bloody ADSL!!!!
