1. Calling people who do stupid things monkeys is a normal thing to say in a normal society but in South Africa people do take offense even if you were not referring to race. Don't do it and stay away from similar wording.
2. If you want to attack a race it is better to say it through what you are not saying. Be smart with your words and stick to factual events.
3. This forum is not intended for racial debate. If you go outside what the moderation guidelines allow we will delete it and infractions will be flowing.
4. Think about this fact. This forum is a multi-racial forum. If you rant about a race other than your own, chances are somebody will be affronted. If your statement is based in fact, that doesn't matter, but if you just make wild statements based on emotion, how other people feel, does matter and we will infract you for that transgression.
5. Consider how others will feel when you make a statement on race. Seriously, consider it and consider how you say what you feel you need to say. Why hurt when you can engage constructively?
6. Understanding that we live in South Africa and given our history it is a given that South Africans love talking about race and racism. If you are at the receiving end of an upsetting comment by somebody on your race please remember the REPORT BAD POST function. Do NOT engage such postings using aggressive wording in turn. If you do reply, play the ball and not the man. In other words do not get personal. Rather rip what was said to shreds with logic.

guys, pls ..... don't believe this statement ....

if you ONLY post with facts you will receive infractions (trust me, I did before ...... :( ) ........
then simple, just don't mention "ANY RACE". ;)

A man or woman of origins of a continent located somewhat south of another content where people of, shall we say, a slightly lighter complexion come from Economic Empowerment?

Wow! See I did not mention race! :p

Overall a good notice, but I don't believe that being of the same race (or claiming to be) gives you the green light to make racist comments about that race or any other, and racist comments should be disallowed regardless of them possibly being based on "fact".

And don't make fun of gays either - regardless of race.
Or emo people - like sharks supporters.
Or any console fanboi.
Or Apple fanboi.

:D:D:D

Oh, and I agree about Apple fanbois. Jislaaik they get upset! ;)

Or people who own S2000's that are always in the shop.

Do not call people idiots althought they are. It is rude :p:D (O and you get an infraction :o)

Well the mods could allow a spade to be called a spade, but this is the internet and we know how all "debates" will go.
You're an idiot - No you're a bigger idiot! Frustrating, but necessary. As for race, I think people who feel a need to racially abuse other should join forum where they can say whatever they want about certain race groups. Much like most do at dinner conversations in the safety of our "like minded" friends and families. No infractions there;)

IF you call a person, yes....

BUT IF you NEVER call a person, then sorry, NO ...

I NEVER called a person "idiots" and received an infraction, sorry that is WRONG!

Edit: PS: How do you know that?

Why not take the issue up with the MOD's in a PM ?

IMHO, the MOD's to a good job of stamping out the racist BS, now if only the ANC could learn from them.

As if racists would stick to that "advice" anyway.
And for that we have MOD's.

And for that we have MOD's.

MOD's who rely on other "decent" people to report the racism which hardly ever happens due to mostly rightwingers being active here.

More Mods I say.
