SA seems to be one of the heaviest sponsors of the sport.
Just watching the A1 GP in Indonesia and noticed our favouriteTelkom has a huge amount of advertising around the track.

join our A1 tipping game (South Africans only)
The starbal.net (http://www.starbal.net) A1 tipping game is an online prediction game where players predict the outcome of each A1 Grand Prix race.
A1 Grand Prix consists of 11 races per season where individual countries race against each other.
Members need to pay R100.00 to be able to join our tipping game. No more payments are neccesary for the remainder of the season. For each race, R5.00 of your entrance fee will automatically be entered into a pool.
Prizes
The Model Spot has sponsored our grand prize for the 2008/2009 season. A 1/43 Scale 2007/08 Amalgam model car and a limited edition Drivers Podium Cap that the drivers wear on the podium.
Points will be allocated according to how accurate your predictions are. The tipper with the most correct predictions in each race will win a starbal.net voucher (to the amount of the pool) to purchase anything from the starbal.net web online shopping store.
