A22 or Redmi 9T

There's also the Nokia 3.4 and 5.4 around that price. But as the others have you can't go wrong with a Xiaomi device. If you really dead cert on getting a Samsung atleast step to the A32 if budget allows.

I think the Poco M3 is great value for the money but I cannot find covers for it locally.

I just ordered the 9T from MIA. Was just browsing and saw their Black Friday deal for R2799.
And I've spoken to the my wife in the last few months about me getting something else, as my 64GB Huawei P20 Lite is starting to show it's age with intermittent lag on the UI. And then just before work at 10pm she reckons, I should get the 9T and the daughter can get the P20.

I said I'd think about it and moved on, with no real intention of buying right now. Deal was too good to pass up on when I saw it.

Nearly went the R500 more for the Redmi 10 128GB, but the longer battery life and slightly bigger screen of the 9T was ok for me.
That and it I was eyeing the 9T for a while now and its more than enough for what I need.

Don't really care for cameras.

I'm most excited about having an IR blaster again for damned remotes which my kids and wife have eff'd up! :p :D

I had some older Xiaomi before and really loved it, then one New Years Day I jumped in the pool with it in the pocket of my shorts. Sober. Forgot it was there :crying:

The speaker is too soft on the A22.

The A22 for software support & it's excellent screen.

The 9T for gorilla glass & everything else.
