Hi

I'm new to this forum so I dont know if what i'm about to ask have been covered previously...I have a Nokia 6230, when trying to connect to the internet via bluetooth I get the following error message:- "error 734: The PPP Link Protocol was Terminated" on my pc and the message "GPRS access point invalid" on my phone.
Any solution on how to correct this would be much appreciated!!

BTW this site is AWESOME!!!!:)

Welcome, Sneed
Goto control panel, phone and modem settings. Select the modem for your phone, then properties, then advanced, then enter "at+cgdcont=1,"IP","internet" for the init string. To be sure the modem works, query the modem under the diagnostics and check that you get "success". Then dial again.
EDIT: Make sure your simcard is enabled for internet, *123*1# to get the settings, this also enables the sim for internet, unless you're on contract, then you have to call your SP.
If the above doesn't work, install PC Suite and have PC Suite connect to the internet.

Thanks will try this, does having the old 16k sim have anything t do with the problem?

FYI, 16K sim will work fine for 3G as well...
You PP or contract?
Specify at+cgdcont=1,,"internet" on modem init string for BT modem.
Try Cable or IrDA

doesn't mtn also use the apn 'mymtn' sometimes?
if 'internet' doesn't work, maybe try 'mymtn' instead?
