ABS Filament - Where do you get yours?

HI guys.

Currently working on building my own 3d printer and hotend. Been working on the designs for a good coupl weeks and have just had all the parts ordered.

Now im going to need some filament to play around with and didnt want to order it from china as i already have the majority of the printer coming from there...

Where is the most cost effective place to buy from? This would mean shipping would have to be included

I saw ABS-Filament.co.za
but it looks sort of dodgy :wtf:

Those guys still around? stay clear, they were at some point willing to sell 1.75mm filament for fishing line... they have no clue what they are doing.

I used to buy my rolls from a 3D printing place in Techno Park Pretoria, but that was before I moved to Cape Town so I used to pick it up myself, so not sure about shipping.

Seriously debating extruding my own filament and trying out some combinations of things (wooden fiber filament looks really cool!)

Obviously I first need to get my printer up and running properly first which requires decent filament. Will give Fabric8 a shot too.
