Does everyone on Absa receive notifications of purchases where you have swiped 2 or so days after the event?

For some transactions yes. Especially if you shop at the smaller merchants, they don't always "bank" your transactions immediately but a day or so later

My debit order sms's on the other hand - if I were to believe the order those sms's are sent my balance goes up and down like a yo-yo within minutes :wtf:
