We have an existing credit card and cheque account with ABSA and we use their internet bank service.
We recently got another new credit card - for business purposes only.
I asked the banker at ABSA to link the new credit card account to our existing profile for internet banking purposes. She refuses to do so. Why? For "security reasons".
1. What are these security reasons she refers to? Surely as clients we have a right to information about our accounts.
2. Furthermore, our existing credit card account has been loaded onto our internet bank profile since time immemorial. Why the inconsistency in applying policies?
