AC Ryan ACR-PV73100 x265 video codecs

Hi

I have this AC Ryan PV73100 media player which doesn't play x265 video codecs. I couldn't find any updated firmware to enable this. Any suggestion how to make it work?

H.265/HEVC will require hardware support, you cannot just flash firmware. There are obviously exceptions on devices with powerful processors but this is not your device.

That particular media player is 6 years old.

Get a cheap solution - Raspberry Pi 3 - It works pretty well with my H.265 content
