PLEASE HELP!!!
Specs:
AC Ryan Essential Playon HD
Firmware: Version 5.4.4 R2688 Euro
Harddrive: 500 gig Samsung (NTFS)
Operating System on laptop: Windows 7 professional
Wireless adapter: Ac Ryan Wireless-N USB adaptor
I have a major problem.
I bought a wireless dongle for AC Ryan over the weekend. The media player picks up that it is a wifi item and connects to the network, but as soon as I try to activate the Samba option it goes back to off.
Posts on Ac Ryan's website stated that the firmware has to be reloaded (Which I did with no success) and others state that the hard drive may need to be formatted to NTFS (also no success). I am stuck on the same note where it does not want to activate.
I have followed all the different procedures on different posts and still nothing.
Once I click on the Shoutcast (Live internet streaming) the item tells me that "No internet connection is found.
I have a Dlink router (Active) and a Mweb router (Active).
All password protects are off and set to Home network.
I have tried opening an account with AC Ryan to be able to speak to their support team and no luck the activation e-mail is not being sent to me.
Can someone please help to that I can expand my media server and shake hands with my Dell laptop.
