AC Ryan Media player compatability

Could anybody please confirm if a AC Ryan Media player will be able to read media off a Seagate portable hardrive 2 TB model SRD00F1.

Surely depends on drive format? FAT, NTFS, HFS etc?

... the Playon Essential is happy with a 2TB internal and I've used 1TB non-USB powered externals in the past without a problem.

My 2.5 inch 2TB' works fine - I am not sure of the brand though.

Thanks guys. I think it will see the external hardrive. Gonna format to NTFS for those large MKV files.

I had a Seagate 2TB drive in my AC Ryan PlayON HD Essentials and worked without a problem. It even was the old out of the box firmware, later models shipped with updated software.
