We are all grown ups, therefore we accept responsibility for over gigging provided that the ISP has the facility for us to monitor usage and that its updated with every disconnection.

This is the only way to stop those stupid time outs.

There have been a few posts on the subject and all the ISP’s could do was “cut and paste” the same comment over and over.

Its up to you (ISPs) to rectify whatever the clients are unhappy with, provided that what we ask for is within reason.

Yesterday or the day before I praised SAOL, today I am disgusted at the way they handled a client. :rolleyes:

I'm not sure what your point is dude.

a) SAOL have the facility to monitor your usage;
b) If you accept responsibility for overages, you can have a 24hr time-out.

That seems fair enough doesn't it? This is my first month with SAOL and so far they haven't sucked at all. Cheapest 10GB packages around sold by phone chicks with sexy voices. Awesome.

And will you keep a tight reign on your kids or wife or anyother family member who has no-clue to what a gig is?
