I've got a client with ADSL problems. Line is VERY slow at times, but never completely dead. Changed router and ISP, same problem. Telkom did line tests from there side, no fault found obviously.

Here is stats off the router:

Upstream 512 kbps
Downstream 4096 kbps
Noise Margin (Upstream) 13.0 db
Noise Margin (Downstream) 19.0 db
Attenuation (Upstream) 5.0 db
Attenuation (Downstream) 13.0 db

Can anyone tell me if these starts are good / bad?

Thanks.

Thanks for the link - just what I was looking for.

Those stats seem good enough not to be a problem, different modem and ISP, but their ADSL is still useless. I dunno...

Guys, does this look good for 10Mb line speeds. I am having high pings (200ms - 300ms) locally and wondered if I should lower my sync..
