Hi,

I recently purchased a new router (Archer D5) due to the old one dropping the WiFi (Telkom Pace) but the old router has better line stats/doesn't drop the line while the new one is bordering on 6dB SNR.
So I started up the Pace router, disabled its WiFi and plugged the ethernet cable into the Telkom pace router's LAN port and into the WAN port of the TP-Link. It all works without a hitch.

My question is, how do I access the TP-link? This device is connected via an ethernet cable directly to the TP-LINK yet I can only see the router as the default gateway, same for the WiFi.
Code:
C:\WINDOWS\System32>ipconfig

Windows IP Configuration

Ethernet adapter Ethernet:

   Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
   Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . :
   IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.175
   Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0

Thanks for any help.

EDIT:
Angry port scanner:

It doesn't seem to pick up any of the phones/tablets/tvs, only windows based devices and the telkom pace router.

the archer d5 would need support access point mode in order for you to use it as your wifi internet gateway.. see if you can flash the router with the dd-wrt firmware which will give you the option to use the router as an access point..
