Because someone else is using the password. So how are you online to post the message? Since if you are using the test account to get 256kbps speeds then this is probably they exact reason they stopped multiple logins. Check the posts by ProAsm about this.

I'll ignore the implied dishonesty [:)]
1. The temp account supplied by Nowire agent is that of the terminally ill Mr Smith. Previous posts between Proasm & Donavan suggested that Mr Smith will have his running shoes removed, but will still be allowed to walk, in order to assists these guys getting the unbundled subscribers online immediately.
2. As far as being online to post, you must be joking [:D]. Heard of Telkom before ??

Hello,

Yes it is true regarding smithw that it is still active. If you're experiencing problems, call the NoWire helpdesk (0861NOWIRE), give your reference numbers (you should have received them by now) and tell them the problem. Don't call Sentech, they won't be able to help you.

Alternatively, give the agent that supplied you with the product a call, and they will gladly assist you.

Luke7777 we had the same problem on a permanent login at a friends house.

Turns out the Password entered into the dialup programe MAGICALLY changes itself every few you log on, so you have to retype it.

Try retyping the password and see if it fixes it

Personally, I'd recommend just using the dial up connection to connect. That Wireless Modem Dialler hurts my eyes...

Great stuff - Deon was here and we checked that the interim un/pw was up, and connected fine, so they must be experiencing problems with the authentication system in your area. They're working on it.

Odd that others are getting this 'invalid username etc' message - I had it yesterday (Saturday 15th) for the first time ever, and nope, I dont move the modem around and have never logged in anywhere else with anyone's modem.. Checked with support that no one had 'flicked a switch' for any reason, then did a reinstall of the software which seemed to sort out the problem..

Just had the same thing happen again after I rebooted - (sunday afternoon) so took 5 minutes to reinstall and went and changed password, just because Im a happy paranoid.. if anyone's having the problem AND has left their initial password at the sentech default one, it probably wouldnt hurt to change it, in case some d*ckheads have a list of mywireless usernames and are running through the list, trying to login, while keeping default passwords on. (and this error is an end result of that attempted double login or something)
